Not to be forgotten: the bolts you use to mount your trucks to your deck. They come in Phillips and Allen head, and usually run between 7/8 inch and 1.25 inch. If you want to put shock pads between your deck and trucks to absorb impact, go for longer bolts. If you’re not running pads, 7/8 inch is the ideal size. A lot of brands also include one bolt in a different colour, so it’s easy to see which end of your deck is the nose and which is the tail.
