Nike SB "Creased" Tour in Antwerp: AF-1 Launch & Demo Recap

It’s not every day you get a lineup like this rolling through town. On May 20, the Nike SB team pulled up to Antwerp as part of their European "Creased" Tour. If you haven't heard by now, the tour across Europe was all about celebrating the launch of the new Nike SB Air Force 1 shoes.

The AF-1 wasn't originally meant for skating, but the culture wore them out anyway. Now, Nike has finally reworked the iconic silhouette into a proper skate shoe, and they brought a heavy crew to show them off.

Things kicked off right here at our shop. We had Casper Brooker, Kyron Davis, Vilma Stal, Poe Pinson, Sora Shirai, Karsten Kleppan, Vince Palmer, Jack O'Grady, Bobby Worrest, Eetu Toropainen, Dylan Jaeb, Ville Wester, Ryuhei Kitazume, and Korahn Gayle all hanging out.

The team met with locals and chilled before the session. A few folks who correctly guessed the secret obstacle from our Instagram promo even walked away with a free pair of the new AF-1 colorway, freshly signed by their favorite pros.

By 16:00, everyone mobbed over to Het Theaterplein for the main event: the demo and Cash 4 Tricks session. The entire squad was skating hard, but we have to talk about Dylan Jaeb for a second.

The dude has arguably some of the quickest feet in skateboarding right now, and he proved it by sending a massive FS flip over the stairs that got the whole crowd screaming. Luckily, the cameras were rolling.

Massive thanks to Nike SB and everyone who showed up to make it such a memorable day for the local scene.
