1: General

Welcome to Lockwood Avenue. These General Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, including but not limited to our physical stores, website, and other sales channels. By using our services, you agree to these terms.

2: Orders

2.1. Placing Orders: By placing an order with Lockwood Avenue, you agree to the prices, product availability, and shipping costs as stated at the time of your order.

2.2. Cancellations: We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order for any reason.

3: Payment

3.1. Payment Options: We accept payments through various methods, including credit cards, debit cards, and other online payment methods as listed on our website.

3.2. Billing: By placing an order, you consent to us storing your payment information for future transactions and sending invoices electronically.

4: Shipping and Delivery

4.1. Shipping: We will make our best efforts to ship orders within the specified timeframes. Shipping may be subject to delays beyond our control.

4.2. Delivery: The risk of loss and damage to products passes to the buyer upon delivery.

4.3. Automatic Returns: If a package is automatically returned by the postal service due to an incorrectly filled address or the absence of a name matching the name on the package on the mailbox or doorbell, we offer two options:

  • The customer has the option to pay the shipping costs again and provide the correct address or ensure the correct name is listed on both the mailbox and doorbell. Upon receipt of these corrections, we will reship the package.
  • Alternatively, the customer can choose to receive a refund for their order instead of a second shipping attempt. This refunded amount will be reduced by the return costs paid for the automatic return.

5: Returns and Exchanges

5.1. Return Policy:

Items purchased in our store can be returned or exchanged within a 7-day period. You have the option to exchange the product for another item or receive a gift voucher for the value of the returned product.

For online purchases, there is a 30-day return period, during which you can choose to return the item through our return portal or bring it back to our store in person. Refunds for online purchases will be processed using the same payment method originally used for the order. For EU orders, the original shipping costs will also be reimbursed if standard shipping was chosen.

8.2. Any visible damage and/or qualitative deficiency of an article or any other deficiency in the delivery must be reported within 24 hours of delivery, under penalty of forfeiture of any right.

10: Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

10.1. These Terms are governed by Belgian law, and any disputes will be submitted to the competent courts in Antwerp.

11: Warranty

11.1. Legal Warranty (for consumers only)

According to the law of September 21, 2004, concerning the protection of consumers in the sale of consumer goods, consumers have legal rights. Each item is covered by legal warranty from the date of purchase. Commercial warranties do not affect these rights. This warranty is specifically intended for private customers.

11.2. Business Warranty (for businesses)

For business customers, there is a warranty period of 6 months from the date of purchase. The warranty covers only manufacturing defects and material deficiencies that manifest within this period. reserves the right to repair or replace defective items. The warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear, improper use, abnormal conditions, or modifications to the product.

Differences between private and business customers:

Warranty Period: Private customers have a legal warranty period, while business customers often have a shorter warranty period. Repair and Replacement: Private customers may have the option of repair or replacement within the legal warranty period. Business customers may be eligible for repair or replacement within the agreed-upon warranty period. Mandatory Return: Business customers may have a procedure for the return and inspection of the defective item before a warranty claim is accepted. No Right of Withdrawal: Business customers usually do not have the right of withdrawal that applies to private customers. Liability: Business customers may need to agree to limited liability of for direct or indirect damages, such as loss of profits. Payment Terms: Business customers may have specific payment terms that differ from those of private customers.

12: Changes and Cancellations of Orders

Unfortunately, orders cannot be modified or cancelled once placed. Unused items can be returned within 30 days of delivery via the following link:

13: Inability to Modify Delivery Address After Ordering

Please note: It is not possible to change the delivery address after placing your order. Therefore, make sure to provide the correct address when placing your order. We cannot take responsibility for packages being shipped to the wrong address due to incorrect information.

14: Amendment Restrictions to Invoices after Order Placement

Once an order has been placed, it is not possible to make any adjustments to the invoice.
